The Gibson Explorer is one guitar that is highly recognizable thanks to its truly unique body shape. Considered to be the guitar of the future, this model made its debut to the public in 1958. It remained in production briefly from 1958 to 1959 and was discontinued. However, it was reissued in 1976 and remains popular today.
